Performance
HRS prepared a sound methodology incorporating safety requirements, underground services location, temporary propping, scaffolding, and sequencing of work, and electrical and mechanical commission and testing. HRS successfully managed significant services installation drawing on the resource of Electrical Subcontractor Aotea Electrical.
Timely pricing and open and upfront communication of the programme impact assisted in the management of the high volume of variations.
The project was adjacent to labs that contained sensitive equipment – the mitigation of noise and vibration was paramount and successfully managed by HRS.
The project called for a high level of communication and co-operation with other CDHB contractors and the hospital itself. HRS followed all necessary protocols and processes regarding the application for and timing of shutdowns.
