Scope and Scale 

New 800m2 gymnasium/school hall with separate learning spaces, and fitted out with cafeteria/ kitchen and small entertainment area. HRS managed all trade packages; specialist flooring, ceiling, carpentry, structural, wall finishes, all services).

Performance

Achieved high-level for finishes. 

Construction during Canterbury earthquakes – the partial new build withstood earthquakes/aftershocks. 

Worked co-operatively and collaboratively in operating school environment. Customer care and health and safety were a high priority as site situated at back of school. 

Complied with Ministry of Education Property Tool Box policies, procedures and guidelines.
