Medbury School

Scope and Scale 

HRS were engaged originally to undertake the demolition of the existing building, and once completed, won the bid to construct the new classrooms. 

The 2-storey (floor area 420m2 each) classroom block consists of a structural steel frame, precast panel and timber framed walls clad in a mixture of Eterpan boards and white bricks. Internally the space has been divided into four classrooms with locker rooms and toilet facilities. Break out spaces and shared learning areas on each floor facilitate the latest learning techniques currently employed in schools.

Performance 

Another quality project that demonstrates HRS capability in delivering on programme and to budget in a working education environment.  Additionally the finished product exhibits the build skills of HRS in-house team of qualified carpenters and management skill of HRS’s project delivery team. The New Teaching Block adds to our portfolio of work at Medbury School and in the education sector generally.
